A few thoughts for one of the most unique Good Fridays in history.

For years I believed that seeking to please people was kind and loving. I was shocked to find out that my efforts to do so often had a selfish motive.

God called out, “Adam, where are you?” When we hide, we make fear the ruler in that area of our life by believing the lie we are safer in darkness than in the light. Hidden struggles are lasting struggles. Father is calling us out where covering and freedom wait in the light!

We like things done fast. Life is usually about processes of growth and change. These are a couple of my milestones of transformative moments.

I distinctly remember at least two new leaders who joined our team telling me, "Bob, I don't care about the past, I want to see something great today." Finding yourself stuck in the past or the future is usually a sign that you have lost hope for the here and now.
